Οι εκλογές έρχονται, οι δημοσκοπήσεις φεύγουν…
Αναποφάσιστοι ή αποφασισμένοι, ιδού ένα ενδιαφέρον διαδικτυακό τεστ για να δούμε μεταξύ ποιων σχηματισμών ή κομμάτων περιφέρονται οι απόψεις μας. Με βάση μία σειρά ερωτήσεων που καλύπτουν τις απόψεις μας γύρω από ζητήματα προσωπικής ελευθερίας και ζητήματα οικονομικής ελευθερίας ο διαδικτυακός υπολογιστής τοποθετεί την ιδεολογική μας θέση στην πολιτική σφαίρα. Έτσι μπορούμε να συγκρίνουμε εάν θέλουμε το αποτέλεσμα των απαντήσεών μας με την απόφαση μας στην κάλπη. Τώρα, εκείνο που ο χάρτης δεν μπορεί να προβλέψει είναι το κατά πόσον όσα τα κόμματα ευαγγελίζονται θα τα ακολουθήσουν πράγματι. Αλλά αυτό ποιος μπορεί να το εγγυηθεί;

- The MPhilStud is a two-year research masters degree aimed at students with
a degree in philosophy who want to begin further research in the subject.
- KCL offers several MAs in Philosophy, including specialised MAs in History
of Philosophy, Philosophy of Psychology, Language & Cognition and Philosophy
of Medicine, as well as an MSc in Philosophy of Mental Disorder.

PhD STUDENTSHIPS IN PHILOSOPHY/HPS 2012-13
The School of Humanities at the University of Leeds intends to offer up to three studentships in Philosophy and History & Philosophy of Science (HPS) to suitably qualified candidates for its full-time (FT) or part-time (PT) PhD programmes. Additional studentships may be available through the University.
One studentship is associated with the AHRC Block Grant Partnership and will pay full Home/EU fees (currently £4,200 p.a. FT) and (for those eligible for a full award) the standard maintenance component for AHRC doctoral awards (currently £13,590 p.a. FT). Up to two additional school studentships will be offered paying full Home/EU fees and substantial maintenance awards.

The University of Roehampton and the Philosophy of Education Society of Great Britain (PESGB) are pleased to announce the call for applications for the second Undergraduate Philosophy of Education Summer School. From June 26th to June 28th, fifty places are offered for undergraduates on the beautiful campus in south London to meet, debate and learn with other undergraduates. Workshops will be led by international scholars including: Professor John White (Institute of Education), Professor Doret de Ruyter (Amsterdam Free University), Professor Lorraine Foreman-Peck (University of Oxford), Dr Roger Marples (University of Roehampton).
